Party MP for Michel Issa: Ambassador of Terrorism
Fady Mahouly
The head of the “Baalbek-Hermel Representatives” bloc, MP Hussein Haj Hassan, considered that “the Lebanese authority’s decision to go to direct negotiations with Israel under American sponsorship is a wrong choice that will lead the country to a new impasse.”
He said: "Any potential agreement between Iran and the United States to end the war in the region will have 'positive repercussions' for Lebanon and the axis of resistance."
Hajj Hassan asked: “Where is the ceasefire that you thanked Trump for?”, pointing out that “Israel violates it daily and kills dozens, including women and children.”
Hajj Hassan criticized the performance of the Lebanese Foreign Minister, saying that he “issues statements against Iran while remaining silent about the fall of dozens of martyrs.” He also described the American ambassador in Beirut as an “ambassador of terrorism,” stressing that “anyone responsible for the Lebanese must bear responsibility for everyone without selectivity.”
Hajj Hassan concluded by stressing that "the resistance is doing well and that those who bet on its weakening are delusional," considering that "the current negotiating path will not change the power equations on the ground."
